Dawn’s passion for painting began in her hometown of Laguna Beach, CA. Being influenced by the city’s emphasis on the arts, she excelled in painting and drawing in high school where she earned the gold medallion for art as well as multiple scholarships. She has since displayed and sold her work at various galleries/venues in California and Washington. Her main focus is portraiture, specifically the female form. She translates her subjects from life or photographs.
